Newport is a beautiful picturesque town situated on he river Nevern as it reached the sea at 'the Parrog'. In the town are cafes, restaurants and pubs selling delicious local foods as well as a local butcher and craft shops.  It is situated on the Pembrokeshire coastal path and you can easily walk to Fishguard or Poppit sands near Cardigan and hop on the Pembrokeshire explorer bus to get home

The Parrog is a few minutes walk from the town centre where there are two slipways and the boat club, ideal for launching boats, dinghies and paddle boards, or just have a swim. Directly opposite the Parrog is the stunning Traeth mawr beach

Nearby is the golf course with stunning ocean views and there are numerous walls in the Gwaun valley and Carningli mountain with the Preseli mountains a short drive away
